Lethbridge & District Exhibition is a not-for-profit corporation that creates opportunities for the agricultural industry and our regional economy as a whole to grow. We have a long history of community involvement which has helped shape our city and make it a standout destination in Canada’s premier food corridor.
Our History
Lethbridge & District Exhibition has a proud tradition that predates the City of Lethbridge, the Calgary Stampede, and the Province of Alberta. It was originally formed as the Lethbridge & District Agricultural Society in 1897 when local ranchers and community-minded citizens organized the first “Lethbridge & District Exhibition”—an expo to showcase agriculture from the bountiful harvest as well as to promote commerce.

The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre
A state-of-the-art, multifunctional venue that brings world-class events to southern Alberta. With 268,000 square feet of modern, well-equipped rental spaces, this venue is a must-see for event planners across the country.
ADVANCING ECONOMIC GROWTH
The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre is a significant addition to our area and southern Alberta as a whole. Increased tourism from world-class events attracts private investments in our city, and nearby regions that are well-known locally will get increased recognition through this stage.
The venue was designed to expand opportunities in all different types of industries through increasing connections and showcasing bountiful southern Alberta.

Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo
Experience the West at the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo. Following a successful inaugural event in 2022, Lethbridge & District Exhibition is proud to once again host the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo. This three-day CPRA rodeo showcases the history, people and culture of southern Alberta.
Agri-food Innovation Expo
Westerner Park (WP) & Lethbridge & District Exhibition (LDE) have started the plans for the inaugural Agri-food Innovation Expo - a conference and trade show with a central goal of facilitating the growth and development of the agri-food industry and involving the industry in its design and development.
