COVID-19 Guidelines

Lethbridge & District Exhibition is committed to delivering a safe, responsible and healthy event environment to our community with the necessary health and safety protocols in place. Lethbridge & District Exhibition will continue to operate all events in alignment with local public health guidelines in alignment with the Government of Alberta's Restrictions Exemption Program.

On December 21, the Government of Alberta announced additional COVID-19 protocols which are outlined below, and will take effect beginning at midnight on December 24, 2021.

Enhanced Health and Safety Protocols

  • NEW - Effective December 24, 2021, Lethbridge & District Exhibition will follow the updated the Government of Alberta Restriction Exemption Program mandatory restrictions:
    • 50% reduced venue capacity for events of more than 1,000 people
    • Outdoors events (excluding washrooms), have no capacity restrictions but must maintain 2 metres distancing between households or two close contact for those living alone
  • Effective September 20, 2021, Lethbridge & District Exhibition requires all staff, volunteers, partners and guests aged 12 and over who enter the facility to adhere to the following protocols for all events:
    • Proof of full vaccination–effective November 15, 2021, valid Government of Alberta vaccine record with QR code will be the only valid proof of vaccination.
    • A privately-paid, negative rapid screen test result completed within 72 hours of event
    • Documentation of a medical exemption
    • Mandatory masks will be required for all events
    • Mandatory physical distancing will be in place for all events

The well-being of our community is of the utmost importance. Lethbridge and District Exhibition requires all employees, volunteers and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Lethbridge & District Exhibition is committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, as well as a safe environment the community with whom we interact with regularly. We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and updates will be posted on our website and social media channels.

Lethbridge & District Exhibition has a strict zero tolerance policy of verbal and physical abuse directed to our staff and third-party partners. Failure to comply will result in removal from our premises by official authorities.
