Lethbridge, Alta. – Embark on a magical journey around the world with Glow Lethbridge. The one-of-a-kind holiday lights spectacle comes to Lethbridge for the first time from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31 at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

Glow Lethbridge is an interactive holiday event featuring millions of lights and a photo opportunity around every corner sure to thrill visitors of all ages. With an “Around the World” theme, visitors will tag along on Santa’s journey and visit the world’s luminous landscapes, including the twinkling Eiffel Tower, the majestic Taj Mahal, the stately London Bridge and more as they help Santa spread the festive spirit from every corner of our gleaming globe – all indoors in the warmth and comfort of the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

“We are so excited to spread the festive spirit with this one-of-a-kind holiday extravaganza,” says Mike Warkentin, CEO, Lethbridge & District Exhibition. “Glow has been delighting visitors across the country for years and I know Lethbridge and Southern Alberta will love having this incredible display right in our backyard. Bringing these types of events to our city, and bringing the community together is the purpose of the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre, and we know it will add colour and excitement to the holiday season.”

Glow will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31. It will take place in both the DA Steel Buildings and K.B. Heating and Air Conditioning Halls in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

In addition to the stunning light display, visitors can get free photos with Santa, enjoy live entertainment, try tasty holiday beverages, get a passport stamped as they travel around the world, play on the children’s playground, and more.

Glow Gardens originated in Langley, B.C., and has expanded its annual Glow shows to Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Halifax, and Hartford, Conn., and is now recognized as Canada’s largest indoor Christmas light show.

Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 1. The public is encouraged to go to glowgardens.com/lethbridge to sign up for a mailing list that will give them first access to tickets, early bird pricing, and information.
