Lethbridge & District Exhibition celebrates successful Ag Expo

Larger and more relevant to industry, Ag Expo brings agriculture together in Lethbridge

Lethbridge, Alta. – Southwestern Alberta’s largest annual agricultural showcase was once again a success as Ag Expo presented by Vanee Farm Centre took place from Feb. 26 to 28 in Lethbridge. With an increased number of exhibitors, the return of Double C AgCo Machinery Row, and a wide range of programming, Ag Expo, hosted by Lethbridge & District Exhibition, is a must-attend event for those involved in the agriculture industry.

Held in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre, Ag Expo attracted more than 300 agriculture-based companies, with more than 1,500 individual exhibitors in 2025. With paid attendance up 7.2 per cent from 2024, the show is a one-stop showcase of the newest, most innovative equipment the agriculture industry has to offer.

“From the large combines, tractors, grain bins and other equipment, to the cutting-edge technology on display, Ag Expo is a true showcase of the current state of the agriculture industry,” says Paul Kingsmith, Director of Community Engagement, Lethbridge & District Exhibition. “We have heard from exhibitors that they see value in the show as a place where agriculture professionals can meet and do business. We are proud to support the industry and look forward to continuing to grow Ag Expo, just as we have done for more than 50 years.”

In 2025, Ag Expo exhibitors came from five countries across three continents, while the increase in exhibitors allowed the event to accommodate many equipment and services that had never previously appeared at Ag Expo. This multi-national display helps to showcase the global impact of the agriculture industry and the important role southern Alberta plays in the industry’s ecosystem.

“Ag Expo 2025 was a resounding success,” says Mike Vas, Sales Manager, Vanee Farm Centre Lethbridge. “The event featured a diverse array of exhibitors and attracted numerous visitors from all over, creating an incredible atmosphere for networking and collaboration. The Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre provided the perfect venue to showcase the very best of the agriculture industry. We take great pride in contributing to the legacy of Ag Expo and are committed to helping it continue to thrive and evolve in the years to come.”

The return of Double C AgCo Machinery Row in the south parking lot created additional display space for large exhibitors, while another highlight of the show was the North American Seed Fair powered by Seed World Canada and presented by 20/20 Seed Labs and Bayer, which featured more than 140 entries in 25 classes, and the Tech Zone, which displayed the latest in agriculture technology.

Ag Expo 2026 will be riding a wave of momentum as it returns to the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre from Feb. 25 to 27, 2026. To learn more visit ag-expo.ca.
