Lethbridge – Whoop-Up Days, southern Alberta’s annual celebration of community spirit and the culmination of summer, will take place in Lethbridge Sept. 2-5, Lethbridge & District Exhibition announced today. Admission and Parking (onsite) to Whoop-Up Days will be free this year. However, parking will be exceptionally limited due to the construction of the Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Attendees will be entertained by live music in the Heritage Hall beer gardens and the Wild Rose Shows midway. Food trucks and the Whoop-Up Days marketplace will also be featured daily. Rocky Mountain Turf Club will add to the festivities as it kicks off the Fall meet on Sunday Sept. 5. “We’ve all had a tough couple of years, so as things have begun to reopen it is important that the region have the opportunity to come out and celebrate. The community support and outreach that we have received has shown the importance of this event to the greater community,” said Mike Warkentin, Chief Executive Officer of Lethbridge & District Exhibition. Due to schedule and construction challenges, we look forward to welcoming back the downtown parade and western events in 2022
